Super-Bastard Box Art Characters, consists of 16 unique toys in one set, with 4 unique characters on each face of the box. Collectors have an opportunity to collect all 16 toys/64 characters in the series. Each toy is individually placed in a sealed box (blind assortment). They are produced in a limited edition with only 1000 copies of each toy on the market. Each toy is made with heavy card stock plus matt lamination and stands 4” in height.

SBBAC are colorful and fun to play with. Each toy has 4 characters, each with a custom designed suit. Characters include Uncle Sam, George W. Bush, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Queen Elizabeth II, Mother Teresa, a mummy, a Japanese wrestler, a cave man, dominatrix and so on. The toys are designed so that you can detach the head or the pants. Once removed, it reveals either a skull or underwear. What makes it exciting isn’t how cool or funny their underwear is, but that collectors can interchange their heads and pants with different bodies. Can a George W. Bush head go with a Saddam Hussein commander suit? How about president Mao wearing a super hot bikini?

I came across these images while

on my tea break in work while browsing the net looking for a little graphic inspiration into my own work when i came across these two pieces of work.

They are produced by a design agency called Factory311 who are based in London, Paris, Losangeles and New York.

I am not sure as to what the purpose of the two images are but the client is named Evolution and the two pieces are named Gold and Silver.

The two pieces have an outstanding finish and a really professional science fiction look and feel about them and I encourage anyone to have a glance at their website.

A lot of people explained to me before I started my degree course in Viscom that I should look at a designers work called Si Scott as I will be absolutely blown away. Obviously me being the little vulnerable first thought that it was obviously just another designer and was other student overreacting! Heck was i wrong!!?

Si Scotts work instantly made me realise exactly why I am doing this course.

Just looking at his work was inspiring and the fact that it is done by and is quite incredible!

I have came across the new logo for the 2010 Fifa World Cup logo. It was released just over a month ago and the competition will be staged in South Africa from July of next year.

The logo itself is an African map, with the stripes of the South African flag (blue, green, red, yellow, black, and white) blowing across it like the wind, and a player doing a magnificent scissor kick. Below, in the lower right corner, is written “FIFA World Cup — South Africa 2010.”

The logo itself is to represent not only the competition but also the importance and relevance of the country it is being staged in.

I personally feel that the logo itself works very well and give the sort of festival look that comes from South Africa.

Good Evening Designers!! I am Glen aka Glendo (or for Richard Gladis) and this is my first Blog so if this isnt great and you are expected to be blown away my sincere apologies from a very amature bloggist!!

At the moment I am off for the summer and was hoping to sharpen up on my Photoshop and other such Adobe apps but unfortunately with the unheard incident of my very new Macbook been smashed that has been put on hold for the meantime until my Macbook recieves surgery.

Anyway at the moment before I get off to Lanzorote I am just out and about looking at different pieces of work and trying my best to try and gather some inspiration and new ideas for second year!
